2016-2017 Master of Business Preparation Program cohort

The Master of Business Preparation Program (MBPP) more than doubles its enrollment and number of MBPP graduates entering the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management this Fall.

The Master of Business Preparation Program is a collaborative effort between the UCR School of Business and UCR International Education Programs at UCR Extension. The MBPP international business program is run by the Office of Undergraduate Business Programs in the UCR School of Business, under the direction of Assistant Dean Mamun. It is designed to allow international students to complete the final year of their bachelor’s degree at UCR. During the year at UCR, MBPP students take upper-level undergraduate business courses, creating a solid foundation to pursue a master’s degree in business.

Last year the MBPP program had 20 participants. This year the enrollment more than doubled, bringing the total to 46 students from 13 universities throughout China. The number of new graduate students from the program also doubled this year, as over 20 students from MBPP will attend the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management this Fall.
