UCR Business Students Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity

Since May 2011, the UCR School of Business and Habitat for Humanity partnership seen over a hundred business students volunteer nearly 800 hours to families in need. 

Students from the University of California, Riverside’s School of Business Administration volunteered with Habitat for Humanity’s “Helping Hands Program” on Friday, June 30th.

The “Helping Hands Program” encourages students to spend time doing volunteer activities for families in need, striving to teach the youth about poverty housing and ways in which the community can work to solve this global problem.

The group, led by Dr. Sean Jasso, helped paint homes in Moreno Valley.

Since May 2011, the UCR School of Business and Habitat for Humanity partnership seen over a hundred business students volunteer nearly 800 hours to people in need, providing opportunities throughout the year for students to participate in philanthropy. Volunteers painted and refurbished multiple homes in the Riverside Community.
