Professor Chengmin Song visited the UCR business school for a special seminar.

Chengmin Song visited UC Riverside on November 6 for a special seminar on "Current Economic Issues Facing China."

Professor Song holds a master's degree in law and a bachelor's degree in international studies. He has over 20 years' experience working with Chinese local and central governments on economic policies and political reform. He has also served as a professor at several top research universities in China.

During the seminar, Professor Song talked about how to evaluate the Chinese economy, the progress of Chinese enterprises and the speed of economic growth in China, among other topics. He also discussed what traditional Chinese culture can bring to corporate management.

Alongside business students and other friends of the community, Amelia Hsu (Manager of Strategic Projects and Development), Kristina Dixon (Controller) and Karen Blakeney (Executive Director) of the Chinatown Service Center, were in attendance.
