Business students prepare for a trip to Oxford to globalize their résumés.

(March 19, 2013)

On Saturday, March 23, 2013, 34 students from the School of Business Administration and other UCR colleges depart for the fourth annual spring break residential intensive at Oxford.

This year’s “Young Oxford Entrepreneurial Leadership Program” will take place at Mansfield College, University of Oxford, where students hear customized lectures from Oxford faculty and practitioners and incorporate site visits from Prodrive Automotive, Blenheim Palace and Bloomberg in London.

Students earn a certificate from Oxford, network with outstanding scholars and business leaders, globalize their résumés and make life-long memories.

The SoBA Global Programs is led by Dr. Sean Jasso, lecturer of management. The mission of the Global Programs is to introduce students from across campus to the world’s emerging markets.

In December 2012, the Global Program took students to Fudan University in Shanghai, China. 2013 brings two new emerging countries to the Global Programs:  Sao Paolo, Brazil (June 2013); Moscow, Russia (September 2013); and the second annual trip to Mumbai, India, will depart in December 2013.

Dr. Jasso will send enrollment announcements after spring break and special financing programs through the UCR financial aid department are available.
