The School of Business Administration and the Eastern Municipal Water District signed a memorandum of understanding that gives EMWD employees the opportunity to receive a reduction in tuition.

EMWD MOU(November 20, 2013)

The UCR School of Business Administration (SoBA) and the Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) have entered into an agreement that would allow employees of the EMWD a significant reduction in tuition should they apply for the MPAc, MFin, or Flex MBA programs at the UCR business school. 

The partnership was made official at a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony held at the University of California, Riverside's Anderson Hall on November 8.

Those in attendance from the EMWD included David Moore (Director of Human Resources and Risk Management), Philip E. Paule (EMWD Board President) and Paul Jones II (P.E., General Manager).

Interim dean Yunzeng Wang said, "We are thrilled to partner with the Eastern Municipal Water District on providing a quality business education to those EMWD employees who wish to advance their business knowledge and skills."

Executive Director for Graduate Programs Arkadiusz Mironko added, "At the UCR business school we are committed to fostering diversity, innovation, sustainable growth and global impact. Through this agreement, we are broadening the global horizons of EMWD employees, and we are also bolstering the competitiveness of the Eastern Municipal Water District."
